We are preparing for kitten season, please help replenish our supplies before the influx of kittens! Below is our wishlist. Feel free to go shopping in person and deliver to one of our events!
Whiskers Animal Rescue is based in Granville, Ohio.
Our entirely volunteer run group is dedicated to making a difference in the homeless animal population in Licking County and helping animals in need throughout Ohio.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, feral spay & neuter, and community outreach.
Donations allow us to intake more and more animals in need.

At Whiskers, we believe that spaying and neutering is an important step in reducing the number of homeless animals in our community.
Cat of the Month
Meet our featured kitty, who is available for adoption at Whiskers Animal Rescue. Each week, we select a special animal who is looking for their forever home. If you are interested in adopting, please find the adoption application here.
North
Meet North. He doesn't care if you do your hair or not, or if don't wear the latest fashion -- quite frankly he'd prefer you if you never leave the house. Or the couch. He loves to sit on the back of a couch and rest on your shoulder while nuzzling in your neck -- but he also LOVES to play. He gets a little crazy, and he's so much fun. This boy has more personality in this tip of his tail than so many people have in their whole being!
How on earth has this boy not had an application yet? He's been with us since last June and is currently our longest in care -- he isn't even a year old yet (10 months tomorrow to be exact)... He does get the sniffles sometimes, but keep him happy and stress-free and this issue goes away. North is definitely one of the rescue favorites! He has a $125 adoption fee and is fully vetted; we even register his microchip for you so that you don't forget!

We are adoption partners with PetSmart in Heath, and Petco in Heath & Mount Vernon.
Sometimes same day meet and greets are possible depending on volunteer and store workers availability.
